Come see the best riders in the world ride in the first live public event in almost 2 years!
Orlando, FL (June 7th, 2021) – All of the biggest names in professional wakeboarding will be just outside of Houston, Texas this weekend at the Pro Wake Tour Powered by Supra Boats to compete in the first major professional wakeboarding event in almost 2 years. The line up of athletes is only matched by their interest and excitement to compete head to head with their peers in front of a live audience. Names like Rapa, Teunissen, Dowdy, Clifford, Tezuka, Higham and Oka cannot wait for the weekend ahead. Expect to see some huge moves that the public has never seen before as these riders have been training for this moment for months.
Cory Teunissen, 2020 PWT season Runner Up said – “I’m really excited to get back to live events and feel the fans and feel the excitement, and feeling anxious around an event. There are so many raw feelings that you do feel on a competition day. You miss that without the fans and you miss that without people standing on shore.”
This event is FREE to the public, so come watch the best riding anywhere in the world in Katy, Texas this Saturday. In addition to the top 16 wakeboarders, spectators also get to see the top 6 wakesurfers and the top 7 Jr. Pros compete in their respective divisions. Three time PWT Wakesurfing Season Champion Sean Silveira is back to try for a 4th straight title and come check out Jamie Huser, Alex Albin and the rest of the up and coming Jr. Pros.
