Supra Boats Pro Wake Tour Moves Stop #3 to Digital, Adds a Double-Up and Announces Final Event to be Live in Florida

Orlando, FL  (July 21st 2020)  – The Supra Boats Pro Wake Tour (PWT) today announced that with the success of the first two digital events, PWT Stop #3 will be another all digital event with a new addition based on rider feedback – a DOUBLE UP will be added for the wakeboarders. The final event is currently planned to be a Live event in Florida to close out the 2020 season. These changes follow the success of the previous two digital events and the PWT digital qualifier. 

 

Below is the UPDATED 2020 Pro Wakeboard and Wakesurf Tour Schedule: 

 

ONLINE Events:

PWT Qualifier – Online Voting               May 25th – 28th 

PWT Stop #1 – Online Voting                June 15th – 19th 

PWT Stop #2 – Online Voting                 July 6th – 10th 

PWT Stop #3 – Online Voting               August 10th – 14th 

 

Final Event:

PWT Stop #4 LIVE – TBA                       Dates/Format/Location TBA

 

The third digital event will be held August 10th – 14th following the same general structure as the previous digital events, which includes ranking by the judges’ and a fan vote. One significant change has been added to the tour format for this event; wakeboarding athletes will now be submitting their best 6 Trick Line as well as a \”Double Up\” component for each of their runs for the PWT Digital Event #3.

 

The LIVE onsite final event will take place in Florida giving the wakeboard and wakesurf athletes a chance to go head to head in person behind the Supra SA 550. 

 

The 28th PWT season has been a revolutionary year for the competition, transitioning the majority of the events to a digital platform. The PWT was quickly able to adapt to changing environments and still deliver the most dominant, highest credibility professional wakeboard/wakesurf circuit in the world.
